Leads mechanical engineering design for built-environment projects across healthcare, corporate, education, and federal markets. Develops plans, specifications, calculations, cost estimates, technical reports, and design details; reviews drawings, vendor submittals, bids, and shop drawings. Coordinates with clients, BIM technicians, designers, and project partners, supports quality assurance and proposals, mentors colleagues, and ensures project deliverables meet standards and deadlines. Applies AI and automation where appropriate and may serve as engineer of record after obtaining a PE license.

Performs mechanical design engineering for built-environment projects, including calculations, specifications, technical reports, equipment and system designs, cost estimates, vendor submittal reviews, field observations, and quality assurance. Collaborates with colleagues and clients, manages project deliverables and deadlines, applies design standards, and uses AI and automation when appropriate. Requires site access and field data collection in varied indoor and outdoor conditions.

The Senior Mechanical Engineer leads technical design, collaborates on projects, ensures compliance with specifications, and fosters client relationships while guiding junior engineers.
