Lead non-supervisory mechanical design and FEA for new-unit development of industrial rotating machinery. Translate specs to designs, run FEA (stress, frequency, thermal, seismic), produce reports, author contract drawings/documents, support manufacturing, testing, customer/vendor interfaces, and mentor peers while ensuring code compliance and meeting schedules.

Company hires 1-3 paid summer engineering interns and one marketing intern. Recruitment begins in early spring for roles starting in early June. Positions are paid summer internships.

Perform non-supervisory engineering for development testing, equipment qualification, factory acceptance testing, and commissioning. Duties include test planning, fixture design, execution, analysis, reporting, vendor test coordination, design support for rotating machinery, stress and vibration analysis, CAD modeling, and mentoring engineers.
