Analyzes and resolves conflicts of interest involving new business, attorneys, staff, and merger candidates. Drafts conflict waivers and ethical walls, advises attorneys on professional responsibility obligations, conducts client background research, and prepares legal research memoranda regarding ethics and risk management. Requires occasional after-hours, weekend, and holiday conflicts checks.

Manage domestic and international trademark and copyright docketing operations, ensuring accurate deadlines, data quality, reporting, and procedural compliance. Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate docketing staff; maintain manuals and standards; coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and practice management; manage transferred-file intake; and support database improvements, quality control, and client service.

Manage high-volume U.S. and foreign patent and trademark prosecution deadlines in an IP docketing database. Review correspondence, create and update records, verify deadline accuracy, monitor PTO case statuses, distribute deadline information, prepare reports, and support attorneys and paralegals with prosecution deadline verification. The role also handles docket slips, special projects, and database accuracy in a team-oriented office environment.
