The Senior Backend Engineer will design and implement backend workflows, build APIs, manage system behaviors, and ensure operational correctness while collaborating closely with the CTO.

Design, implement, secure, and optimize on-premises and Azure database solutions (Azure SQL, Managed Instance, Cosmos DB). Monitor and tune performance, enforce security/compliance, implement backup/DR/HA, integrate databases with CI/CD and DevOps, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor junior engineers.

Lead design and delivery of secure native iOS and Android apps. Architect security- and privacy-focused features, integrate backend microservices, optimize performance, mentor peers, and uphold best practices in testing and deployment.
