The role partners with senior leaders to shape data science strategy, improve modeling practices, and deliver commercially valuable solutions for insurance pricing.

Build and maintain machine learning pipelines for market pricing, productionise Python models and data science workflows, and improve testing, deployment, monitoring, versioning, documentation, and governance. Investigate data, model, and pipeline issues; automate manual processes; and collaborate with Pricing, Data Science, Data Engineering, ML Engineering, and governance teams in a regulated environment.

Lead the architecture and operation of machine learning platforms supporting feature engineering, experimentation, model training, deployment, monitoring, retraining, and governance. Partner with data scientists, data engineers, and software engineers to deliver reliable, scalable ML solutions for telematics and insurance pricing. Establish CI/CD, observability, versioning, reproducibility, and infrastructure automation standards while presenting technical solutions to technical and commercial stakeholders.
