Designs manufacturing tooling and equipment using NX CAD for aerospace and defense customers. Creates dies, gages, composite molds, fixtures, machines, and tooling for machining, assembly, transport, and surface-treatment applications. Collaborates with manufacturing engineers, supervisors, estimators, and shop personnel to meet customer requirements and applicable military and commercial design standards.

Program 5-axis CNC machining operations using UG NX, develop tooling and setup specifications, analyze drawings and models, revise and debug programs, and improve machining processes. The role supports corrective actions, inspection documentation, tooling setup, dimensional accuracy, reject reduction, and safe shop-floor operations. Candidates should have manufacturing experience, blueprint-reading ability, and familiarity with Zoller and Vericut. Domestic travel may be required up to 5%.

Plan and perform CNC turning and milling operations to produce precision aerospace and defense metal parts. Set up, adjust, and operate machines; select tools, materials, fixtures, speeds, and feeds; interpret blueprints and engineering instructions; measure parts using precision instruments; maintain inspection records; lubricate and clean equipment; identify defects and report abnormal conditions while following safety and housekeeping standards.
