Processes and routes incoming and outgoing legal mail and documents for claims staff counsel. Scans, indexes, names, archives, and quality-checks documents, calendars deadlines, manages confidential materials and physical evidence, and coordinates with attorneys, paralegals, vendors, and office staff. The role requires strong organization, discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to manage high-volume administrative work in a fast-paced legal environment.

Conducts complex risk evaluations, field surveys, loss analyses, and consultative services for commercial insurance policyholders. Develops recommendations and service strategies with underwriting and agency partners, participates in business and renewal meetings, and helps improve loss ratios and risk controls. The role also requires mentoring newer staff, maintaining industry expertise, communicating persuasively, and managing multiple projects independently.

Leads Marine Claims strategy and operations, overseeing claims performance, regulatory compliance, customer experience, financial results, modernization, and process improvement. Develops managers and high-performing teams through workforce planning, hiring, coaching, succession planning, and performance management. Builds stakeholder relationships, monitors quality and operational KPIs, manages expenses and settlement authority, and drives consistent, compliant, customer-focused outcomes.
