Provide legal support for closed-end and evergreen commingled funds, separate accounts and fund-of-one structures: structure, draft and negotiate fund and client documents, oversee outside counsel, advise product and structuring teams, handle amendments, investor negotiations, fund credit facilities, compliance with securities/tax/ERISA, regulatory filings, and special projects.

Support Hamilton Lane Canada’s SMA clients with portfolio oversight, strategic planning, investment monitoring, and primary fund diligence. Build models, prepare client presentations, coordinate across teams, maintain DealCloud records, and support business development and the primary investment pipeline. Present to clients and collaborate with senior professionals on SMA and broader Canada initiatives.
