Associate Attorney will represent clients in defense litigation from pretrial through trial, draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and agreements, attend hearings and depositions, conduct legal research, analyze cases, collaborate on strategy, and support client relationships and business development.

Associate Attorney will represent clients in healthcare-related defense litigation from pre-trial through trial. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and agreements; attending hearings, depositions, trials, and client meetings; conducting legal research and case analysis; collaborating on case strategy; and supporting business development and client relationships. The role requires a JD, active Illinois bar membership, 3–6 years of relevant litigation or healthcare law experience, and strong research, writing, negotiation, and communication skills.

Supports three litigation attorneys by managing calendars, scheduling court appearances and depositions, coordinating communications, preparing correspondence, maintaining case files, distributing filings and updates, filing and serving pleadings and discovery, and coordinating with paralegals and experts. The role requires strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court jurisdictions, legal terminology, billing software, document management, organization, multitasking, and attention to detail.
