Provides comprehensive eye examinations and tailored vision care across two independent optician practices. The Optometrist will deliver patient-focused clinical services within GOC guidelines, resolve clinical and technical queries, liaise with external professionals, maintain practice equipment, and collaborate with colleagues to support an excellent patient journey. The role offers clinical autonomy, professional development, and flexible full- or part-time work, including alternate Saturdays.

Provides patient-focused optical support, including frame styling, lens advice, fittings, adjustments, aftercare, and guidance on complex prescriptions. Maintains displays and equipment, supports daily practice operations, and delivers a positive patient experience. The role also involves stock selection, visual merchandising, and occasional social media involvement. Previous optics experience is preferred, with work required on three Saturdays per month.

Provides reception and optical assistance in an independent practice. Responsibilities include booking appointments, advising patients on frames and lenses, supporting fittings and adjustments, managing aftercare, assisting with complex prescriptions, maintaining displays and equipment, and delivering a friendly patient experience. The role also involves day-to-day administrative duties and collaboration with the wider practice team. Previous optical experience is not required.
