Teams at HAGERSTOWN GOODWILL INDUSTRIES INC

Maintains general ledger records, prepares journal entries and reconciliations, supports month-end and year-end close, manages fixed assets and prepaid expenses, maintains grant accounting schedules, prepares audit documentation, and provides Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable coverage. The role also supports bank reconciliations, internal control improvements, cross-training, and resolution of accounting discrepancies.

Lead enterprise continuous improvement efforts using Lean methods (5S, Kaizen, process mapping) across retail, donation centers, workforce programs, and back-office operations. Coach staff and leaders, design human-centered processes, build data-informed capability, develop visual management and standard work, measure outcomes, and sustain gains while aligning initiatives with strategic goals and compliance requirements.
