Supports research staff and principal investigators with medical record review, patient interviews, data collection, database and case report form entry, and maintenance of research documentation. The intern works approximately 10 hours weekly for the full academic year on site at the La Crosse Campus, supporting research navigation and nursing research projects.

Processes and posts insurance payments and hospital and clinic charges accurately. Ensures smooth payment processing, applies medical billing and coding principles, maintains attention to detail, and provides strong customer service. The role is full-time, onsite, and requires completion of competency testing within 90 days.

Provides administrative and clerical support to NICU, pediatric/PICU, and respiratory therapy units. Responsibilities include creating positive patient and family impressions, coordinating with providers and clinical staff, managing calendars, preparing meetings, recording minutes, and supporting daily operations. The role is part-time, on-site, and requires strong organization, customer service, scheduling, and technology skills.
