The role requires engineering knowledge, CAD proficiency, project coordination, and familiarity with manufacturing and installation practices.

Designs and supports automation and control systems for industrial food-processing machinery, including PLC, HMI, SCADA, motor, pneumatic, vision, safety, networking, and data systems. Responsibilities include developing machine improvements, standardizing controls, reviewing designs, commissioning installations, troubleshooting customer issues, supporting new product development, creating documentation and training, and consulting with customers. The role requires domestic and international travel, customer-site evaluations, and collaboration with mechanical engineering, sales, management, and supply chain teams.

Designs, develops, enhances, prototypes, tests, and sustains industrial food-processing equipment product lines. Creates SolidWorks models and drawings, performs value engineering, validates designs, researches materials, and ensures manufacturability, safety, compliance, and reliability. Collaborates with sales, customers, suppliers, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and service teams to identify product opportunities and deliver improvements. Manages product development projects, engineering releases, design reviews, records, and prototype testing.
