Manages the full grant lifecycle, including funding strategy, opportunity identification, proposal development, award administration, compliance, budgeting, reporting, audits, and closeout. Supervises grants staff, coordinates cross-functional teams, maintains grant systems and policies, liaises with funding agencies, and reports performance to executives and governing boards. The role focuses on federal, state, local, maritime, defense, infrastructure, energy, workforce, and economic-development funding programs.

Supports marine outfitting and interior design for ship repair and construction projects. Develops accommodation, equipment, deck, foundation, machinery, furniture, and interior layout drawings; coordinates with multidisciplinary engineering teams; performs design checks; supports material takeoffs, procurement, fabrication, installation, model reviews, production reviews, and engineering changes. Requires shipyard and vessel visits, strong technical documentation skills, and proficiency with AutoCAD and marine 3D design systems.

Supports marine mechanical design for ship repair, construction, and fabrication projects. Develops piping layouts, equipment arrangements, foundations, supports, and production-ready drawings; coordinates with multidisciplinary engineering and production teams; performs design checks and participates in model, drawing, and production reviews. Supports material takeoffs, procurement, fabrication, installation, engineering changes, design schedules, and constructability improvements. Conducts shipyard visits and occasional business travel as needed.
