Grupo Televisa

Televisa is a large telecommunications corporation that owns and operates one of the most relevant cable companies and a leading satellite pay television system in Mexico. Televisa's cable business offers comprehensive services including video, high-speed data services and voice services to residential and commercial customers, as well as managed services to local and international telecommunications companies. Televisa owns a majority stake in Sky, a leading direct-to-home satellite pay-TV system and broadband provider operating in Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Central America. Televisa is the holder of a series of concessions from the Mexican government that authorize it to transmit programming through television stations for the signals of TelevisaUnivision, Inc. (“TelevisaUnivision”), and Televisa's cable and satellite television systems. Additionally, Televisa is the largest shareholder of TelevisaUnivision, the holding company of Univision Communications Inc., a leading media company in the production, creation and distribution of Spanish-language content across various broadcast channels in Mexico, the United States and more than 70 countries through cable operators, television channels and additional internet services (“OTT”). Televisa also has interests in magazine publishing and distribution, professional sports and live entertainment, and gaming.
