Groupy

Groupy is a location-based group messaging application. In contrast to existing (group) messaging apps that focus on, and are limited to, your existing contact lists, Groupy allows users to join a broader collection of users in groups tied to specific locations. By doing so, the application significantly expands the horizons of group messaging beyond your close contacts, enabling connections that were previously impossible. If Four Square and WhatsApp had a child, this would be it.
