Lead a portfolio of outsourced accounting clients by managing relationships, overseeing month-end close and financial reporting, mentoring staff, implementing cloud accounting and automation tools, providing technical accounting guidance, budgeting/forecasting support, coordinating with auditors/tax teams, and driving practice growth through client expansion and business development.

Supervise audits, reviews, compilations, tax return preparation, client engagements, and accounting staff. Manage engagements for nonprofits, government contractors, manufacturers, healthcare providers, construction contractors, and professional service firms. Train and supervise employees, maintain client relationships, and provide strong audit and accounting services. Travel to client sites throughout the DMV, with occasional overnight travel required.

Prepare and review federal, state, fiduciary, individual, business, nonprofit, and trust tax returns. Conduct tax research, identify planning opportunities, maintain workpapers, communicate with clients, manage multiple engagements and deadlines, and support managers, partners, junior staff, and interns. The role also involves engagement coordination, tax software use, continuing education, and staying current with tax law changes in a hybrid public accounting environment.
