Design and operate fault-tolerant, scalable distributed services across GRNET’s cloud, platform, and services environments. Responsibilities include managing Kubernetes workloads, investigating infrastructure and technical debt, contributing technical vision, leading team projects, and collaborating across teams. The role requires SRE or infrastructure-focused software engineering experience, Linux internals knowledge, DevOps practices, and Greek-language proficiency. Work is remote day to day but requires residence near Athens for periodic on-site collaboration.

The DevOps Engineer will monitor cloud application ecosystems, manage technical reporting, maintain operational performance, and document processes. They will work closely with project contractors and ensure seamless implementation and communication.

The Java Developer will design and implement web services for GRNET, focusing on scalable solutions and service portfolio extensions. Responsibilities include API development and participation in European Research Projects.
