Design complex VIP aircraft interiors and/or structures using 2D/3D CAD. Analyze specifications, select materials, optimize for manufacturing, ensure FAA compliance, support testing, provide engineering guidance, and meet budget and schedule targets for aircraft interior projects.

Fabricate aircraft interior components and sub-assemblies, operate fabrication machines and hand tools, trim and finish panels using dec-lam, leather, vinyl and aluminum, interpret complex blueprints and process specifications, maintain quality and safety practices, perform assembly tasks, and support production schedules. Requires travel and flexible hours; temporary position through an agency.

Designs and modifies aircraft interior electrical systems (cabin management, lighting, power, comms, galley/lavatory), drafts schematics and wire kits, performs load and separation analyses, develops FAA-compliant test procedures, supports installations, resolves design issues, and coordinates with project and lead engineers to meet schedule and budget.
