Designs complex VIP aircraft interior monuments, mechanisms, and payload items using 3D and 2D CAD. Selects materials, applies design-for-manufacturing principles, interprets specifications, and ensures compliance with FAA, quality, budget, and schedule requirements. Provides engineering guidance, supports testing and documentation, collaborates with manufacturing and design teams, and delivers solutions for custom aircraft interiors.

Leads aerospace engineering projects and teams developing aircraft interior modifications. Responsibilities include creating and managing statements of work, schedules, staffing plans, budgets, resources, performance metrics, and engineering deliverables. The role coordinates customers, vendors, and internal departments; evaluates designs and engineering changes; conducts design reviews; manages project execution; and mentors engineers. Requires expertise in aircraft structural, mechanical, electrical, and interior engineering, structural certification, aviation, and Earned Value Management.

Fabricates and assembles aircraft interior components, including panels, cabinets, details, and complex structures. Operates fabrication equipment, interprets blueprints and process specifications, performs trimming, finishing, riveting, and related hand-tool work. Supports production planning, reporting, coordination, quality, and safety requirements. Provides mentorship and guidance to less experienced fabricators, assists with team leadership, and works independently with minimal supervision in a schedule-driven aerospace manufacturing environment.
