Cost Accountant partners with manufacturing, operations, supply chain, and finance leaders to analyze costs, inventory, margins, and performance. Responsibilities include inventory reconciliation and valuation, standard cost management, allocations, intercompany eliminations, variance analysis, planning-cycle preparation, SAP controls, audits, GAAP compliance, reporting, and process improvement. The role translates financial and operational data into actionable insights and supports digital transformation across manufacturing operations.

Serves as a strategic HR partner to site and senior leaders, guiding workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, talent management, employee relations, labor relations, and change initiatives. Leads union and employee relations activities, coaches managers, oversees talent reviews and succession planning, analyzes workforce metrics, and develops people strategies aligned with business goals. Directly manages and develops HR Generalists while ensuring consistent HR policy administration and compliance with employment and labor laws.

Operates CNC and manual machines to fabricate production parts from drawings and specifications. Performs machine setups, close-tolerance machining, first-piece and in-process inspections, recordkeeping, preventative maintenance, tool grinding, and fixture fabrication. Maintains safe, orderly work areas and follows quality procedures. Troubleshoots machining, tooling, programming, material, and drawing issues; provides process-improvement feedback and assists with training other machinists.
