The HR Business Partner serves as a strategic advisor to Ontario-based operational leaders, guiding workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, organizational effectiveness, employee and labour relations, investigations, performance management, and change initiatives. The role supports unionized workforces, coaches leaders, interprets employment legislation and collective agreements, delivers HR programs, and leads enterprise projects. Based in Markham, Ontario, it requires regular regional travel and collaboration across HR functions.

Leads the planning, execution, and closeout of multiple construction dewatering and water treatment projects. Manages schedules, budgets, resources, procurement, subcontractors, safety, quality, compliance, project documentation, and stakeholder communications across sites. Develops technical plans, drawings, reports, and regulatory submissions while managing risks, profitability, and performance. Provides technical leadership, mentorship, and continuous improvement across project teams.

Leads project risk management across complex infrastructure and heavy civil projects, developing risk plans, registers, mitigation strategies, governance, and reporting. Performs qualitative and quantitative cost and schedule risk analyses using Safran Risk and Monte Carlo simulation. Facilitates multidisciplinary risk workshops, collaborates with engineering, construction, estimating, scheduling, procurement, and commercial teams, and provides training, dashboards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
