Green & Healthy Homes Initiative

Green & Healthy Homes Initiative (GHHI) is a nonprofit focused on protecting public health and advancing housing stability, particularly in economically challenged communities. It addresses home-based causes of lead poisoning, asthma, injuries and energy inefficiency through integrated healthy-homes interventions. Its work aims to create healthier, safer, more resilient and affordable homes, improve health and safety outcomes, increase energy efficiency, and support community-based jobs and workforce development.
