Teams at Greater Joliet Area YMCA

Supervises before- and after-school programs for children ages 5–12, ensuring safety, enrichment activities, supplies, compliance, and quality parent experiences. Leads and trains counselors and site coordinators, conducts audits, addresses staff and child issues, supports incident reporting, and provides coverage when needed.

Officiate youth flag football games, enforce sport rules, promote participant safety, maintain positive relationships, inspect and set up equipment, and support YMCA policies and values. The role requires knowledge of current sport regulations, safety procedures, and the ability to lead activities in indoor and outdoor settings.

Supervises YMCA gym and track operations, enforces safety and facility rules, assists members and staff, resolves conflicts, responds to emergencies, completes incident reports, and organizes or reports on equipment. The role requires maintaining a safe, welcoming environment and supporting other program areas as needed.
