Interns must work full-time on-site during summer 2027 and complete a mentored project.

Electrical engineering interns complete mentored projects related to designing agricultural equipment. The role is full-time and on-site in the Salina, Kansas area during summer 2027, with collaboration alongside engineers and production-floor teams. Interns must be enrolled in an engineering bachelor’s program, work 40 hours weekly, and complete required physical and drug screening. Housing may be provided. Preferred qualifications include 30 completed credit hours, communication and project-management skills, teamwork, Microsoft Office proficiency, and basic CAD knowledge.

Design Engineer Interns will complete a mentored engineering project at a Salina-area R&D facility, supporting the design of agricultural or construction equipment. The role is full-time and on-site during summer 2027, collaborating with engineers and production-floor teams. Responsibilities involve applying academic engineering knowledge, developing and communicating design plans, solving problems, and using engineering and CAD tools. Housing may be provided for qualifying interns outside the area.
