Monitors construction work areas for fire hazards and confined-space safety compliance. Maintains permit conditions, prevents ignition risks, communicates with supervisors, responds to emergencies, operates fire-safety equipment, and exercises stop-work authority when hazards are identified. Requires confined-space entry training, physical ability to work outdoors and in confined areas, climb structures, lift up to 45 pounds, and work 12-hour shifts during a short-term outage.

Installs, maintains, repairs, dismantles, and relocates industrial machinery and equipment. Reads blueprints and schematics; performs rigging, bearing, gasket, seal, coupling, drive, pump, compressor, gearbox, conveyor, blower, and turbine work. Troubleshoots mechanical systems and inspects equipment. Requires at least four years of heavy industrial millwright experience, five years with steam turbine systems, appropriate tools, and the ability to work extended shifts in demanding outdoor and confined environments.

Performs industrial steel cutting, trimming, grinding, beveling, fitting, bolting, clamping, tack welding, and welding preparation. Reads blueprints and technical drawings, uses hand and power tools, unloads materials, maintains equipment and work areas, and follows safety procedures while working at heights, in confined spaces, and on extended shifts.
