Leads quality assurance strategy for precision defense manufacturing, including inspection planning, CMM routines, contract compliance, audits, FAI, process validation, nonconformance investigations, RCCA/CAPA, MRB support, and final documentation approval. Reviews blueprints and specifications, analyzes quality metrics, drives continuous improvement, mentors inspection staff, and serves as a technical liaison across quality, manufacturing, engineering, program teams, customers, and management.

Serves as the facility’s receptionist and first point of contact while providing administrative support and assisting with marketing, social media, website updates, trade shows, outreach, and business development materials. Responsibilities include managing calls, visitors, mail, meetings, documents, supplies, communications, and confidential information while supporting branding and compliance requirements in a manufacturing environment.

Provide primary administrative support to the CEO (calendar, travel, correspondence, meeting prep), support President and VP as needed, prepare documents and presentations, track action items, assist with events and projects, and perform bookkeeping tasks in QuickBooks. Maintain confidentiality, communicate professionally, and use Microsoft Office and AI tools to improve productivity.

Set up and operate manual mills, lathes, and ProtoTRAK machines to produce large, close-tolerance components. Interpret drawings and GD&T, select tooling and workholding, perform machining and inspections, adjust offsets, and develop conversational programs. Safely handle heavy workpieces, complete production documentation, troubleshoot machining issues, and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, welding, and engineering teams in a defense-focused, high-mix environment.

The Manufacturing Planner prepares and monitors production schedules, liaises with teams, ensures timely delivery, and analyzes key production data.

The CNC Tooling Coordinator oversees cutting tool inventory, implements a Min-Max system, manages inventory across locations, and supports machinists in tooling selection.

The CNC Machinist sets up and operates CNC and manual machines to produce precise components, interpreting blueprints and managing machining processes effectively.

The CNC Mastercam Programmer will program multi-axis CNC machines, optimize toolpaths for precision parts, and ensure compliance with military specifications and quality standards.

Lead manufacturing quality assurance for precision machined parts, weldments, and assemblies to ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO9001 and defense regulations (ITAR/DFARS). Manage supplier quality, FAI/AS9102, MRB, metrics (CoPQ, defects), continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen), root-cause analysis, and a team of quality engineers/inspectors to drive defect reduction and customer satisfaction.

Coordinate and control production flow, ensuring schedule adherence and compliance with ITAR/DFARS and quality standards. Liaise between engineering, production, quality, supply chain, and planning to manage work jackets, ECOs/ECNs, material availability, outside processing, and production data. Participate in S&OP and continuous improvement, drive corrective actions, eliminate bottlenecks, and perform dispatch duties as needed.

Lead production planning, master scheduling, S&OP, and digital manufacturing initiatives using ERP, APS, MES, Foundry, and AI/ML. Own MPS, capacity modeling, KPI reporting, and drive forecasting, throughput, schedule adherence, and continuous improvement while managing and developing the planning team and aligning cross-functional stakeholders.
