Provides broad legal advice and representation to university leadership and departments. Drafts and reviews legal documents, manages litigation and investigations, advises on compliance and policy, monitors legislation, conducts legal audits, supports risk management, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders. Requires a Michigan-licensed attorney or attorney eligible for admission, with at least eight years of legal experience and strong judgment, research, communication, and client-service skills.

Supports audiovisual and multimedia technology for simulation-based education. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software, setting up and maintaining simulation systems, recording and editing video, creating web streams, managing content distribution and backups, maintaining equipment inventory, protecting recorded data, training faculty and staff, and supporting patient simulator operation. The role requires schedule flexibility for evening and occasional Saturday events, with some travel possible.

Oversee university grant accounting, compliance, financial reporting, sponsored award budgets, post-award accounting, sub-recipient monitoring, audits, F&A rate proposals, Title IV reconciliations, time and effort certifications, and grant-funded equipment inventory. The role supports principal investigators, coordinates with sponsor programs and financial aid, and may supervise several employees.
