Develops advanced image-processing algorithms for scientific and microscopy data, correcting optical distortions and extracting features from high-resolution imagery. Designs scalable processing solutions, supports mission-focused analysis in classified environments, and may develop and deploy machine-learning models for image analysis. Requires advanced technical expertise, classified-environment experience, and a master’s or PhD in a relevant quantitative field.
