Supports the Head Grower in managing commercial crop production for the Texas region. Responsibilities include production scheduling, plant nutrition, inventory management, food safety, and hydroponic production of leafy greens and herbs. The role requires greenhouse production expertise, problem-solving, leadership, flexibility, and the ability to work weekends and independently in a fast-paced sustainable agriculture environment.

Performs hands-on greenhouse production work, including operating seeding machines, transplanting and harvesting plants, identifying diseased or pest-affected crops, moving equipment, handling materials, composting unused plants, and cleaning production areas. Follows GMPs, GAPs, food safety policies, employee safety policies, and SSOPs. Requires physical labor, attention to detail, reliable transportation, and flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Supports daily greenhouse production through seeding, transplanting, harvesting, plant transfers, equipment and material handling, composting, and cleaning. Monitors plant quality, identifies pests and disease, maintains production and sanitation logs, and follows production schedules, GMPs, food safety, Good Agricultural Practices, safety, and PPE requirements.
