Automate data management processes, validate data quality, improve pipeline and database performance, and ensure reliable integration across data infrastructure. The role also requires applying security best practices, monitoring system health, resolving technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support accessible, accurate, and scalable data.

Leads complex reserving, capital modeling, financial reporting, risk assessment, and predictive analytics initiatives for a P&C insurer. Develops actuarial models and automated analytical processes using Excel, actuarial software, SQL, Python, and R. Supports IFRS 17, regulatory, capital adequacy, audit, and board reporting. Acts as a subject matter expert, reviews actuarial work, mentors analysts, and recommends methodological and modeling improvements.

Design, develop, and maintain SmartCOMM templates, data models, and batch/on-demand document generation. Manage print/spool outputs, troubleshoot rendering and pagination, integrate with enterprise systems (e.g., Guidewire), create tests and documentation, and collaborate with business analysts, QA, print operations and vendors to ensure quality and delivery.
