Leads the powertrain engineering function for ultra-low-volume, high-performance vehicles from concept through production. Responsibilities include powertrain design and integration, EMS calibration, emissions compliance, certification, testing, supplier management, FMEA, validation, programme delivery, resource planning and engineering team leadership. The role owns global regulatory approval across EPA, CARB, EU and UK frameworks while driving technical strategy, continuous improvement and cross-functional integration.

Own industrial engineering performance across vehicle manufacturing, including Hours Per Car, Cost Per Unit, labour content, capacity, headcount, line balancing, productivity and utilisation. Analyze manufacturing data, identify performance gaps, lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives, support process documentation and launch activities, and provide performance reports and investment recommendations across Structures, Paint, Assembly and End of Line.

Own end-to-end EMS software and calibration delivery across high-performance automotive programmes. Lead technical governance of external software, calibration, and Tier 1 partners; define requirements, manage risks, control scope and timing, and ensure vehicle integration, fault handling, diagnostics, emissions compliance, certification, durability, and production readiness. Serve as GMA’s EMS technical authority across engineering, suppliers, regulators, testing, and executive stakeholders. Regular international travel supports supplier reviews, climatic testing, vehicle integration, proving-ground activities, emissions testing, and certification.
