Teams at Goodwill of the Heartland

Provides career planning and employment support to community members, including skill assessments, job searches, resume writing, interview preparation, computer skills, workshops, and certification training. Builds partnerships with businesses, organizations, and schools to connect job seekers with workforce resources and opportunities. The role is part-time and requires flexibility, reliable transportation, computer proficiency, and background screenings.

Build and maintain partnerships with businesses, community organizations, and agencies to create employment and training opportunities for Goodwill participants. Identify employer needs, propose solutions, coordinate job placement efforts, track contacts and agreements, use labor market data to support regional employment strategy, and represent Goodwill through networking and presentations. Develop customer service and communication strategies while collaborating with internal Career Services teams.
