Own Goodfire’s brand and communications strategy, including narrative, positioning, voice, social media, press, blogs, and executive communications. Translate complex AI interpretability research into compelling public content, build relationships with journalists and influential AI voices, lead agency partnerships, and amplify founder and researcher perspectives. The role aims to increase awareness, establish Goodfire as an AI interpretability leader, and drive inbound demand and recruiting interest.

Own Goodfire’s compute strategy and infrastructure capacity for model training, research, and customer workloads. Responsibilities include sourcing and negotiating GPU capacity, managing allocations, testing and accepting clusters, monitoring cluster health, tracking utilization, resolving provider issues, translating roadmaps into compute requirements, and forecasting future demand for planning and budgeting.

Serve as Goodfire’s first in-house lawyer, establishing the company’s legal function and handling contracts, AI/SaaS licensing, data rights, regulatory matters, employment agreements, fundraising, and board matters. Advise on AI security and interpretability issues while negotiating enterprise software and forward-deployed contracts. The role requires independent ownership across all legal matters and is onsite five days weekly in San Francisco.
