Manages events, activations, vendors, communications, social media, newsletters, project workflows, CRM records, budgets, and engagement data. Coordinates Houston Loves Teachers and Parent Action Network activities, supports surveys and feedback loops, tracks performance, and improves processes. Builds trusted stakeholder relationships while ensuring inclusive, accessible, and well-organized participant experiences. The role requires flexible evening and weekend work for planned community events.

Manage Advancement data systems, donor and prospect information, fundraising portfolios, reporting, analytics, gift processing, and reconciliation. Maintain donor database integrity, security, and adoption; conduct prospect research and wealth screening; produce dashboards and KPI reports; train staff; and collaborate with Finance and fundraisers to optimize donor engagement and fundraising operations.

Leads Good Reason Houston’s public affairs strategy and serves as Executive Director of Houstonians for Great Public Schools. Oversees policy advocacy, leadership pipelines, community voice campaigns, board governance, fundraising, compliance, stakeholder relationships, and organizational strategy. Advises the CEO and board, manages senior teams, coordinates legally distinct 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) activities, and advances civic, electoral, and education policy priorities across Houston.

Leads Good Reason Houston’s regional education impact strategy, overseeing district, postsecondary, research, data, and partnership initiatives. Directly manages three managing directors and a 20-person team while shaping enterprise priorities, measuring outcomes, developing philanthropic and fee-for-service strategies, and building partnerships with education, civic, business, and government leaders. Represents the organization publicly and coordinates cross-sector efforts to improve educational and economic mobility outcomes across Houston.
