The Quality Engineer will lead internal, customer, and third-party audits; oversee FAIRs; monitor product compliance and process repeatability; analyze quality metrics; and drive root-cause and continuous-improvement initiatives. The role engages customers, suppliers, engineering, and supply chain teams, coordinates concessions, chairs MRB meetings, supports contract reviews and engineering changes, and mentors colleagues in quality best practices.

Serve as the technical liaison between customers, sales, and engineering to define requirements, recommend optical solutions, support design reviews, prototype evaluation, qualification, and production readiness. Provide application support, presentations, documentation, and cross-functional coordination to ensure manufacturable, cost-effective products and drive continuous improvement.

Set up and operate semi-automated machinery to manufacture precision optical components, follow engineering drawings and written procedures, maintain quality, safety and output targets, clean equipment and work areas, and support continuous improvement.
