Assess the creditworthiness and financial strength of hedge funds, mutual funds, private equity funds, and other counterparties. Conduct counterparty reviews, recommend internal ratings, set risk limits, and evaluate derivatives and funding transactions using quantitative models and stress tests. Partner with trading and sales teams across OTC derivatives, prime brokerage, and repo businesses to manage credit exposure and support risk decisions.

Analyzes hedge funds and global markets counterparties to assess creditworthiness, financial strength, transaction risk, and potential default exposure. Reviews derivatives, financing transactions, risk models, portfolios, and stress tests; recommends risk ratings and credit limits; and reviews trading documentation including ISDA and repo agreements. Collaborates across business lines while making independent, detail-oriented risk decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Design and implement scalable backend infrastructure and APIs, write robust code, and contribute to an agile software engineering team. The role requires strong Python development experience, NoSQL databases, caching, streaming technologies, computer science fundamentals, analytical and communication skills, and collaboration with technical and business stakeholders. Preferred experience includes Django or Flask, Linux, Bash, JSON, cloud computing, and loan lifecycle knowledge.
