Leads all Alaska-based operations, subsidiaries, land and real estate holdings, facilities, tourism businesses, and strategic business development. Oversees subsidiary performance, P&L results, budgets, investments, contracts, business planning, and operational strategy. Advises executive leadership and subsidiary general managers, manages cross-functional teams, develops business opportunities, coordinates with agencies, and presents to the Board and external stakeholders. Requires extensive senior operations leadership, strategic planning, financial management, and organizational development experience.

Supports compensation program design, administration, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include maintaining job descriptions and architecture, evaluating positions, conducting market pricing and pay equity analyses, administering salary structures, ensuring regulatory classification compliance, maintaining HRIS and ATS data, supporting compensation planning, and advising HR staff and managers on compensation practices.

Assists with operation and maintenance of 150-passenger vessels, including line handling, fueling, water intake, gangway management, cleaning, trash removal, and basic engine maintenance. Supports passenger service and information needs, participates in emergency procedures and drills, and helps train crew members. Work occurs on multiple docks and vessels in variable weather, rough seas, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight stays.
