Provides design release, launch, and onsite production support for automotive exterior systems. Responsibilities include analyzing production and field data, conducting root-cause investigations, coordinating corrective actions, validating solutions, and collaborating with manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and program teams. The role also updates design and manufacturing standards to incorporate lessons learned and improve product quality and launch readiness.

Develops automotive mobility-system layouts and packaged component designs using NX. Creates solid and surface models for plastics and sheet-metal parts while ensuring performance targets and manufacturing feasibility. Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency, apply current technologies, and reduce design and component costs. Requires an engineering degree, 5–7 years of relevant experience, NX proficiency, and strong communication skills.

Supports automotive BIW cost planning, value analysis, value engineering, benchmarking, supplier quote analysis, and cost reduction. Leads cost activities across purchasing and design teams, tracks investment targets, creates cost reports, and supports product development through 3D modeling, layout reviews, and 2D drawings. Requires automotive body systems experience, DFM/DFA knowledge, project management capability, and client-site travel.
