Installs, commissions, tests, maintains, and repairs network infrastructure across data centres, street cabinets, POP sites, and telephone exchanges. Responsibilities include connecting power, UPS, fibre, and copper cabling; documenting site configurations; updating diagrams and port maps; resolving on-site faults; and coordinating with engineering, NOC, contractors, and project teams. Regular travel across operational areas is required.

Conduct SHEQ audits, inspections, and assurance activities across operational sites; support compliance with CDM 2015 and NRSWA; monitor contractor competence and performance; advise operational teams; investigate incidents and implement corrective actions; deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and training; and promote continuous improvement in safety, health, environment, and quality.

Inspects telecoms civils, cabling, and fibre construction to ensure work meets safety, quality, and industry standards. Audits completed builds, identifies defects, raises remedial actions, prepares inspection reports, monitors quality trends, and works with delivery teams, planners, and contractors to resolve issues. Requires knowledge of FTTP build methods, infrastructure inspection experience, drawing interpretation, mobile reporting tools, strong communication, attention to detail, and a full UK driving licence.
