The Senior Legal Counsel provides strategic legal advice related to investment mandates, intermediary relationships, and regulatory requirements, supporting asset growth and compliance in various markets.

Provide dedicated support to Relationship Managers for institutional prospects, consultants, and clients across Asia. Deliver regular reporting, handle client servicing and ad-hoc requests, prepare meeting materials, coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Performance, Operations, RFP, Legal/Compliance), and develop understanding of GMO's investment strategies to ensure high client satisfaction.

Manage end-to-end collateral processes for OTC derivatives, futures, and financing products. Perform margin calls, reconciliations, dispute resolution, collateral movements under ISDA/CSA, maintain collateral data, support onboarding, process improvement, system enhancements, audits, and regulatory inquiries while partnering with trading, investment, risk, legal, custodians, and counterparties.
