Designs and develops CNC lathe toolholders and tooling systems from concept through production. Responsibilities include 3D modeling, detailed drawings, gear and transmission design, design for manufacturability, tolerance stack-up analysis, prototyping, testing, BOM and engineering documentation, and design standardization. Collaborates with manufacturing, production, programming teams, and vendors to ensure reliable, cost-effective product implementation.
