The Research Associate will conduct molecular biology experiments, manage cell cultures, analyze genomic datasets, and support lab operations to advance research in gene regulation and disease mechanisms.

Perform animal colony maintenance and genotyping, conduct small rodent surgeries (stereotactic injections, electrode implants), prepare primary cell cultures, run molecular biology assays (cloning, gels, westerns, RT-qPCR), and perform histology and microscopy (tissue sectioning, immunostaining, image processing). Maintain computerized records and follow safety/physical requirements.

This position involves investigating therapeutic gene editing for motor neuron disease using iPSC-derived tissues and genomic engineering methods.
