Lead hands-on software and platform engineering while owning the development backlog and product roadmap. Translate business needs from asset management, trading, finance, and business development into technical solutions, epics, user stories, and prioritized sprints. Guide architecture, review code, contribute to development, and maintain testing, CI/CD, documentation, and security standards. Serve as the technical counterpart to vendors and BESS partners while scaling IT and data capabilities for battery energy storage operations.

Own end-to-end delivery of utility-scale battery storage projects in Germany, from contracting and technical review through construction, commissioning, and handover. Manage schedules, budgets, quality, safety, reporting, contractors, suppliers, authorities, and community stakeholders. Provide technical input on engineering, site design, transport, grid connections, and regulatory compliance while coordinating civil, electrical, and mechanical disciplines.

Lead development of two German battery energy storage projects through permitting and project maturation. Coordinate external development partners, authorities, landowners, grid operators, consultants, and internal teams. Maintain project plans, budgets, risk assessments, governance structures, milestones, and stakeholder alignment while representing Giga Storage’s strategic interests. The role requires strong influence, communication, relationship-building, and project management skills in complex infrastructure or energy environments.

Build and maintain GIGA Storage’s central SCADA environment for large-scale battery storage assets. Translate operational requirements into functional specifications, define signal architectures and HMI standards, coordinate integrations with local SCADA systems, EMS and data platforms, and lead FAT, SAT and commissioning activities. Monitor alarms, performance and data flows, investigate incidents, and work with suppliers and integrators to improve system reliability. The role requires collaboration across Operations, Engineering, IT/OT and external partners.
