Participate in advocacy training, community organizing, lobbying, and gun violence prevention activities. Fellows attend in-person and virtual trainings, develop a community engagement project, meet with legislators, build communication and organizing skills, and join GIFFORDS’ ambassador program involving events, mentoring, advocacy initiatives, staff check-ins, and communications.

The Courage Fellowship develops young gun-violence prevention advocates through in-person and virtual trainings, lobbying activities, mentorship, networking, and community organizing. Fellows create and implement a local engagement project, meet with legislators, attend required events, and participate in the ongoing Ambassador Program through advocacy, mentoring, events, check-ins, and communications. Applicants must be ages 18–24, connected to Arizona, available for all trainings, and committed to gun-violence prevention.

Two-year fellowship managing and strengthening statewide community violence intervention coalitions and a national peer network. Responsibilities include member engagement, onboarding, training, convening planning, coalition development, policy advocacy support, grant fund administration, stakeholder facilitation, research, and data tracking. The role requires strong project management, communication, policy synthesis, relationship-building, and trauma-informed engagement skills, with quarterly travel and occasional work outside standard hours.

A youth fellowship for Michigan residents ages 18–24 interested in gun violence prevention, advocacy, activism, and community organizing. Fellows attend in-person and virtual trainings, develop advocacy and communication skills, engage with legislators, network with activists, and create a community engagement project. Participants must attend all trainings, travel within Michigan, and join the ambassador program involving events, mentoring, advocacy initiatives, quarterly check-ins, and communications.

A paid fellowship for Colorado residents ages 18-24 to develop advocacy, organizing, and lobbying skills through in-person and virtual trainings, mentorship, and a community engagement project focused on gun violence prevention.

Support GIFFORDS' fundraising operations by managing financial tracking and revenue projections, producing regular fundraising reports, maintaining CRM and pipeline records, conducting prospect research, coordinating donor communications via ActionKit and FreeWill, and assisting leadership with institutional fundraising strategy and reporting.
