Oversee daily accounting operations, monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and bank reconciliations. Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and finance staff. Partner with leadership on grant management, compliance, and fund accounting. Improve financial systems and internal controls while supporting staff training and accurate, timely reporting.

The Accounting Specialist manages full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing, three-way matching, check runs, customer billing, cash applications, reconciliations, credits, refunds, and account adjustments. The role maintains accurate financial records, resolves vendor and customer discrepancies, supports credit reviews, and collaborates with Purchasing, Receiving, customers, vendors, and internal teams. It reports to the Controller and contributes to improving processes within a newly structured accounting function.

The Controller will lead daily accounting operations, financial reporting, month-end and year-end close, inventory accounting, cash management, budgeting, forecasting, and audit and tax coordination. The role supervises a lean accounting team, oversees selected HR and compliance functions, maintains internal controls, and improves financial systems and processes. This hands-on leadership position partners closely with company leadership in a manufacturing and infrastructure organization.
