Summer audit and tax rotational internship providing hands-on experience in audit, assurance, tax preparation, consulting, client communication, financial statement review, workpaper preparation, and IRS/FTB audit assistance. Interns rotate between Audit and Tax departments, participate in engagement planning, document procedures, prepare tax returns, and support consulting projects. The internship runs June 14 through August 13, 2027, with paid Wellness Week closure.

Assist with preparing tax returns, tax consulting, IRS and FTB audit support, consulting projects, and communications with tax agencies. The intern will shadow team members, collaborate on assignments, and develop professionally while working part-time in a hybrid, primarily onsite Buffalo office program from January through April 2027.

Participate in training and advisory projects, conduct research and analysis, help create client deliverables, develop technical skills, identify problems, gather insights, and propose solutions. The intern will support Profit Participation Services engagements while building accounting and advisory expertise through collaboration, initiative, and hands-on client work.
