Leads the Engineering Department across product excellence, new product development, sales and service support, manufacturing support, and team culture. Oversees engineering deliverables, product design, bills of material, drawings, project schedules, manufacturing integration, technical standards, cost reduction, troubleshooting, and external engineering resources. Develops engineering expertise in underground mining, mobile equipment, and worker safety standards while managing and mentoring technical personnel.

Develops, implements, and improves metal fabrication manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include process development, routings, tooling and fixture design, CAD/CAM support, lean improvement, root-cause analysis, quality support, cost reduction, equipment troubleshooting, and manufacturing documentation. Collaborates with engineering, operations, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and shop-floor teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and process capability.

Leads the design, development, optimization, and lifecycle support of underground mining equipment products. Translates customer requirements into system and component specifications, creates SolidWorks models and drawings, manages bills of material in Epicor, resolves complex design issues, and supports manufacturing, service, and product improvements. The role mentors engineers, coordinates cross-functional projects, interfaces with customers globally, conducts site visits, and contributes to planning, documentation, and technical product strategy.
