Teach second-grade English Language Arts through blended learning and standards-based instruction. Plan engaging lessons, assess and track student progress, prepare students for required assessments, communicate with parents, support special-needs students, manage classroom behavior, participate in staff and grade-level meetings, and incorporate administrative coaching.

Supports the lead teacher with classroom management, student behavior, online learning, tutoring, individualized learning plans, academic progress tracking, and communication with students, families, teachers, and administrators. The assistant may substitute for the teacher when requested, helps maintain a positive academic culture, secures computer equipment, participates in staff development and meetings, and performs other duties assigned by school leadership.

Supports the lead teacher with classroom management, student tutoring, individualized learning plans, academic progress monitoring, online learning culture, communication with families and staff, and student behavioral expectations. May substitute for the teacher when requested, participate in professional development and staff meetings, and help secure classroom technology and equipment.
