Develops, deploys, and improves automated manufacturing systems. Responsibilities include PLC programming, software development, electrical and pneumatic schematic creation, hardware and software specification, robotics integration, equipment improvement, standardization, research, and training production support teams during launches. The role provides on-site controls engineering support for Large Area Device manufacturing across two Gentex facilities.

Manages assigned commercial customer accounts by developing pricing, cost, revenue, margin, and savings strategies. Coordinates with sales, program management, and cost analysts; prepares cost breakdowns and business projections; supports negotiations, customer visits, pricing agreements, and account accuracy. The role requires analytical customer and market assessment, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic planning for annual price reductions and new business opportunities.

Leads cross-functional product development programs involving engineering changes and new or existing technologies. Manages program scope, schedules, costs, quality, delivery, customer communication, escalations, launch meetings, and process improvements while ensuring compliance with company and safety requirements.
