Schedules interventional radiology and other diagnostic imaging procedures, verifies patient demographic and clinical information, obtains physician orders and approvals, coordinates with radiologists and ancillary departments, supports authorizations and patient flow, scans documentation into the EMR, and provides patient, family, physician, and visitor assistance. The role also handles telephone communications, maintains data accuracy, supports department operations, and delivers courteous, patient-centered service.

Moves, delivers, unpacks, shelves, and organizes healthcare supplies and equipment throughout the organization. Maintains inventory and supply-cart par levels, uses handheld devices and computers, and follows materials-handling, safety, infection-control, privacy, and confidentiality procedures. Provides respectful service to patients and coworkers while supporting a clean, safe environment.

Provides direct and indirect patient care in the emergency department under the supervision of a registered nurse. Responsibilities include measuring and recording patient data, administering prescribed medications, following infection-control and safety procedures, collaborating with caregivers, and supporting patient-centered care.
