Oversees mammalian, CHO, and cell-free systems; advances stable-expression and purification technologies; establishes quality and data standards; supports discovery-to-development transitions; manages CRO and CDMO partnerships; and drives automation, AI/ML, operational excellence, talent development, and cross-functional scientific decision-making.

Leads complex protein production, purification, and characterization strategies for biologics discovery and platform initiatives. Develops mammalian and cell-free expression workflows, chromatography-based purification processes, analytical methods, and scalable high-throughput systems. Integrates experimental data to resolve technical challenges and guide scientific decisions. Serves as a technical contact for cross-functional teams and CRO, CDMO, and vendor partners while mentoring colleagues and advancing reproducible methods.

Leads analytical development strategy and execution for biologic therapeutics from candidate selection through commercialization readiness. Oversees method development, validation, specifications, comparability, stability, release testing, GMP readiness, regulatory submissions, quality investigations, and external CDMO and testing partners. Builds and develops analytical and quality teams, manages budgets and external spend, supports inspection readiness, and partners cross-functionally across CMC, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, supply chain, and process development.
